The editor stores articles as structured blocks, not free HTML. That keeps pages fast and safe, and lets every theme present the same story well.
- Headline, deck, standfirst, excerpt, kicker label, dateline and content type (news, analysis, opinion, live, sponsored…).
- Blocks: paragraphs, headings, lists, quotes and pull quotes, fact boxes, key points, callouts, timelines, source lists, tables, call-to-action buttons, document links, related stories, images, galleries and YouTube/Vimeo video.
- Autosave, a full revision history with differences between versions and one-click restore.
- Pre-publication checks: missing alt text, images still being processed, sponsored content without disclosure; plus suggestions such as a missing featured image or excerpt.
