Move from WordPress
Upload your WordPress export. A dry run shows exactly what will be imported, what cannot be, and which addresses change โ before anything is created.
How it works
- In WordPress, Tools โ Export โ All content.
- Upload the file in your panel. The dry run changes nothing and reports counts, unsupported blocks and shortcodes, media size against your storage, address changes and a sample of converted stories.
- Start the import. It can be paused and resumed and never creates duplicates.
- Just before you switch your domain, export again and upload: only what changed is updated; stories you edited on the new platform are never overwritten.
- Switch DNS. Old links keep working through permanent (301) redirects.
What is kept
- Published posts with their original publication and modification dates; drafts as drafts.
- Categories (including sub-categories), tags and author names.
- Featured images, attachments, galleries, captions and alt text; YouTube and Vimeo embeds.
- Internal links, rewritten to the new addresses.
- Old addresses: dated permalinks,
?p=123links, category, tag and author archives and the feed address redirect to the new pages.
What is not
- WordPress comments are counted in the report but not imported.
- WordPress users become author profiles; nobody gets a login automatically and password hashes are never imported.
- Page-builder layouts (Elementor and similar) and plugin blocks: their text is kept, their layout is not. Every case is listed in the report.
- Images hosted on other websites are not copied.
Redirects keep old links working. No migration can guarantee unchanged search rankings or traffic; we do not promise that. Your WordPress site is never modified or deleted.
